Here is the e-FinancialWriter REIT Index for the week ending January 6, 2012. As you can see, my index has beaten the S&P 500 (as represented by the ETF SPY) over the past 12 months by more than 6:1. Plus it’s paying a dividend yield of close to 4%, almost twice SPY’s.
